'2021 제주 글로벌 바이어 초청 화상 상담회' 개최
Online business consultation meetings held for export companies

Jeju National University held the 2021 Jeju Virtual Consultation Meetings with Global Buyers on Tuesday (Sept. 14).

The business consultation event was co-hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. The co-organizers include Jeju TechnoPark and the Korea International Trade Association.

The virtual conference invited 25 Jeju-based sellers and 21 buyers from 11 countries, such as the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, India, and Vietnam.

The organizers arranged more than 60 business meetings online, which were provided on a high-definition virtual meeting platform through the 5G network.

A Jeju provincial official explained the virtual meetings were organized to help local exporters that have experienced difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To prepare for the era “with the coronavirus”, THE local government will continue to support export-oriented businesses.
