Field training on business management offered for GTEP members

Jeju National University’s Glocal Trade Expert Incubating Program (JNU-GTEP) attended the SCM Fair 2021 and the 2021 K-BEAUTY EXPO at Korea International Exhibition Center in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province.
The SCM Fair 2021 is the nation’s only B2B exhibition specializing in supply chain management (SCM). The event showcased recent trends of SCM solutions, logistics, smart mobility, last mile services, fulfillment centers, robots, automation, material treatment systems, and eco-packaging.
Marking the 13th anniversary this year, the 2021 K-BEAUTY EXPO is a representative Korean beauty fair visited by more than 2,000 international buyers from 30 countries and 50,000 visitors every year.
Twelve members of the JNU-GTEP visited the two events to understand the distribution process of different businesses and analyze the competitors of the GTEP’s partner companies.
Kang Ji-yeon, a fourth-year student in the Department of International Trade, said the field tour was helpful for analyzing the global market based on the GTEP training courses.
JNU-GTEP promotes the products of its partner businesses and educate its promising young trade experts, funded by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. JNU-GTEP members engage in the entire event process on the site, helping with the business consultation meetings and the operation of promotional booths.
