BK21 Bio-Fisheries Industry Research Team holds Open Lab event

Jeju National University Brain Korea (BK) 21 Bio-Fisheries Industry Research Team for Futuristic Strategies held an Open Lab event between Sept. 27 and Oct. 1.

The tour program was offered for the students of the Department of Aquatic Life Medicine and the Department of Marine Life Science to introduce the BK 21 Project-related laboratories and their education track programs.

The introduction of the labs included the information on the educational and financial benefits provided for postgraduate researchers.

The latest Open Lab had more than 100 participants, including professors, researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students.

During the event, those postgraduate members of the BK 21 Bio-Fisheries Industry Research Team provided the visitors with a mentoring service while introducing their labs and recent research topics.

The research team held its first Open Lab event in February this year and plans to hold it regularly ever year to secure excellent intellectuals.
