LINC+ to kick-start 2021 Job-Ara Festival Week

Jeju National University’s Leaders in Industry-University Cooperation (LINC+) Center will kick-start the 2021 Job-Ara Week on Oct. 27. The on-campus job fair will continue through until Oct. 29.
The program is co-organized by the university’s LINC+ Center, Strategic Headquarters on Recruitment, Career Development Center, Student Counseling Center, Industry-University Convergence Agency, Jeju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jeju Human Resources Development Committee, and the Jeju Headquarters of Korea Midland Power Corp.
The annual job fair will focus this year’s program on providing young job seekers with the information on job opportunities in the latter half of 2021. College and department-level programs will also offer consultation on interviews for hands-on training. If needed, colleges will invite different companies to listen to their recruitment policies.
The job fair will run promotional booths run by the co-organizers and other Jeju-based employment support centers, as well as psychological consultation services. Additionally, an artificial intelligence-based program will be introduced to offer consultation on job interviews.
To prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the 2021 Job-Ara Festival Week was designed to be held in different spots of the university’s Ara Campus.
In November, the LINC+ Center will hold the Post Job-Ara Briefing on Job Opportunities so that students can prepare themselves for the employment in the first half of 2022.
The center has also worked with the local government to co-organize two other job fairs in 2021 to provide plentiful information and extended job opportunities for local job seekers.
