‘개교 69주년 기념’ 제38회 정기연주회 개최
Music faculty to perform commemorating 69th anniversary of university opening

The Faculty of Music in Jeju National University’s College of Arts and Design will hold the 38th Regular Concert at Jeju Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 29, the music faculty announced Tuesday (Oct. 26). The school musicians have scheduled the concert, marking the 69th anniversary of the university’s opening.

The concert will feature JNU Symphony Orchestra, playing Mussorgsky’s Night on the Bare Mountain and Pictures at an Exhibition.

Yang Shin-kuk (tenor), Kim Se-yeong (clarinet), Moon Su-jeong (violin), and Moon Hye-lin (piano) will accompany the performance.

The JNU Symphony Orchestra held its first regular concert in 1984 and has since led the development of local classical music concerts, contributing to the cultural enrichment of Jeju residents.
