Career exploration program held for chemistry and cosmetics majors

Jeju National University’s Department of Chemistry and Cosmetics held a career exploration program for undergraduate students on Oct. 29.

The event was organized to offer first and second year students with an opportunity to gain knowledge about their majors and consider new career paths.

The program was held in two parts, the first introducing the six majors that students can choose from. The second part of the program invited those who have worked in the industry related to their major after graduation.

In the after-program survey, the respondents gave high marks to the diverse range of information they could access, including different experiments and research projects carried out in the department. Students also mentioned that it was useful to join in the special lecture given by graduates from the department.
