’지식재산교육 확산 네트워크 구축 및 성과 교류 워크숍’ 개최
Workshop held to share performances of intellectual property network

Jeju National University’s Intellectual Property Education Center (IPEC) and Kyungsung University’s IP Education Promotion Center held a joint workshop to share their latest performances.

During the workshop, the participants exchanged their methods of operating the state-run IP education program.

Kim In-jung, professor at Jeju National University, gave a presentation about the regional projects of Jeju under the program. Kim introduced cases of utilizing the institutional network, suggesting ideas on how to promote the program in the future.

Sung Yul-moon, professor at Kyungsung University, highlighted his school’s performances and challenges in operating the IP education program.

Another Kyungsung University professor named Sohn Bong-gyun spoke about the IP-related research and development, relating it to the so-called 4th industrial revolution.

Sohn’s speech was followed by the presentation given by Kim Beom-yong, a Jeju National University professor, who introduced a case example of designing a curriculum for patent application.

After the presentations, the participants joined in the panel discussion and the consultative roundtable meeting to discuss the roles of thge regional universities that run the state-led program.
