Graduate school to accept new Korean Language Education Course students

JNU (President Song, Seok-eon) announced on Nov. 11th the recruiting of new students for Interdisciplinary Korean Language Education Course.

As more people across the globe want to learn Korean language, more foreigners are moving into Jeju. On the other hand, there are currently no infrastructure for them to be educated with Korean language.

To provide systematic education course to nurture experts who are capable of teaching Korean language to foreigners, the Graduate College of JNU opened a new interdisciplinary Korean language education course in 2020.

The course not only provides an opportunity to learn Korean language and culture but also latest theories and methods regarding Korean language education. There are various subjects to choose from, all of which can be useful in the field. Teaching practice of the course also enhances the capabilities. Completing the course, the student will be conferred with Master’s degree in literature and 2nd class Korean language teacher’s license.
