정주희 교수 작품, 란트페스트슈필레 음악제서 연주
Work of music department prof. to be played at Randfestspiele

Jeju National University (President Song, Seok-eon) announced on Nov. 10th that ‘ for Saenghwang, Daegeum, and Piano,’ a work of Professor Jeong, Joo-hee of the Department of Music, will be played at the 29th Randfestspiele, an international modern music festival in Germany.

Every year, Randfestspiele invites world-renowned composers and orchestras with various themes to hold a concert. In its 29th year, the festival is planned with a variety of works that connects between Korea’s traditional music and modern music.

Works of Johannes K. Hildebrandt, Helmut Zapf, Kim Yu-ri, Jeong Joo-hee, Lee Hee-joo, Hwang Hye-jeong, and Lee Seung-eun will be played by a modern Gugak ensemble named ‘Gutmori.’

Due to COVID-19, the concert will be live-streamed from 7:30 pm on Nov. 15th at Gonggan Woolim Concert Hall in Daegu, Korea.
