Artist Lee Young-soo has held 37 individual exhibitions since graduating from Sookmyung Women's University College of Art and its Graduate School. She has also participated in group exhibitions, art fairs, and biennales. Lee won the Korean Art Exhibition selection and the Best Work Award at the Korea Grand Prize Festival. She served as the exhibition director for the Chennai Biennale from 2022 to 2024 and is the first chairperson of the KAUP (Korea Art Underpin Project Association).

Artist Lee continues to paint moments that praise primitive nature under the title ‘Natural Image.’ Her works capture scenes from Mother Nature, such as the reflection of the forest in dewdrops on leaves, red and yellow ginkgo leaves scattered across the street, and colorful poppy petals swaying in the wind.

The work she donated to JNU, Natural Image (Wealthy), is filled with yellow tones, evoking a bright and positive feeling, complemented by a painting of ginkgo leaves.
