MOU for talent fostering agreed between IP and basic science centers

Jeju National University’s Intellectual Property Education Center and Research Institute for Basic Science signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for cooperation on Monday (Nov. 8).

The two institutes plan to take the MOU as an opportunity to utilize shared human resources for the research and education on intellectual properties.

The MOU also details that both the parties will cooperate to raise public awareness of the importance of basic science and intellectual property.

Kim In-jung, director of the Intellectual Property Education Center, expected the MOU will help the two institutes contribute to local advancement.

Kim Myeong-sook, director of the Research Institute for Basic Science, pledged that the two parties will continue to nurture local intellectuals specializing in science.
