GTEP사업단, 전자상거래 경진대회서 장려상 수상
JNU-GTEP awarded encouragement prize at e-commerce contest

Jeju National University’s Glocal Trade Expert Incubating Program (JNU-GTEP) announced that its student members were awarded the Encouragement Prize at the 15th GTEP E-Commerce Contest on Friday (Nov. 12).

Eighty-six teams from 20 universities made an entry for the contest, and 15 of them including two from JNU-GTEP succeeded to compete on the final round.

The Jeju teams made presentations on the overall process of launching products of local small and medium-sized enterprises on a global e-commerce platform.

The KS team discovered the fruit chips of a local company named Zeus to sell the item on Shopee Singapore.

The other team, Chilvibes, also launched on Shopee Singapore Sorak (a reusable item), Gwajeul (a tangerine chip), and Organic Cold Brew (a local coffee brand).

During the process, the teams signed a memorandum of understanding with their partner companies, obtained the business certificate number for the marketing of the items.
