LINC+사업단, ‘에코 크리에이터 경진대회’ 최우수상 수상
LINC+ awarded best prize at eco creator contest

Jeju National University’s LINC+ Center announced that its undergraduate members were awarded the First Prize and the Encouragement Prize at the ACC Social Design Lab Eco Creator Contest on Wednesday (Nov. 10).

The contest was open for entries by 10 universities that are designated to operate the state-led LINC+ Program in the Honam and Jeju regions. Previously in October, the universities and the Asia Culture Center agreed on the Eco Creator Project for the purpose of solving environmental degradation through means of culture and art.

In the latest contest, Gyeongme, a team from Jeju National University’s Department of Mechatronics Engineering, was announced as the winner of the First Prize for its idea of developing an integrated electricity management system with used electric vehicle batteries.

A team of the school’s Fashion and Textile Department, named Amitie, was awarded the Encouragement Prize for giving a presentation on the outdoor garments produced with recyclable fabric.
