Basic science institute holds workshop for academic future generations

 

 

JNU Research Institute for Basic Science (Director Kim, Myeong-sook) held a Workshop for the Empowerment of Academic Future Generations under the invitation of a special lecturer, Han, Yoo-sin, CEO of Handioti, co., Ltd., as a part of the Autonomous Priority Research Institute Program on Nov. 12th at Ramada City Jeju Hotel.

 

CEO Han’s lecture was titled ‘Understanding the Creative Problem-solving Theory of TRIZ.’ The lecture was about setting objectives, defining problem and coming up with new ideas for those who major in basic sciences.

 

The Autonomous Priority Research Institute Program supports research study contests, research and development (R&D) start programs, and thesis presentation for the empowerment of research capabilities and nurturing future academic generations in the field of basic science.

 

The research institute will also have its ‘thesis presentation’ at Maison Glad Jeju Hotel on Dec. 8th. Oral and poster presentations of graduate students will be held.
