Presentation event of ‘Great ESG’ idea contest successfully concluded

Jeju National University’s Regional Leading University Promotion Center held the presentation session for the GREAT ESG event, an idea contest for the Jeju regional consortiums of the state-led Regional Leading University Promotion Program.

The contest was held on Nov. 18 and 19, featuring the theme of ESG which stands for the environment, society, and governance. During the presentations, the students suggested ideas on how to apply the ESG concept to the Jeju Free International City Development Center (JDC) and the Government Employees Pension Service (GEPS).

The students autonomously formed teams of one to three members, and the presenters were selected through a rigorous screening process.

The first prize winner for the JDC category was the Sangsang Narae team, which suggested a barrier-free playground for kids.

The Chwi Forever in the GEPS category won the second prize by making a proposal on the senior-friendly rental houses.
