Prof. Lee Sang-ho awarded ministerial citation on industrial technologies

Lee Sang-ho, a pharmaceutical professor at Jeju National University, received a citation presented by the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, marking the 11th Industrial Technology Protection Day. The event is hosted and organized by the National Intelligence Service and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

The citation is presented to those individuals, organizations, or corporations that work to protect bio technologies for national security and foster intellectuals in advanced sciences.

Prior to joining Jeju National University, Lee served as the Bio Program director at the Korea Evaluation Institute for Industrial Technology under the ministry. During his term, he contributed to the growth of the emerging bio health industry by developing policies and strategies for the industrial research and development in the field of biological sciences.

Jeju National University expects the professor’s career achievements to help the school lead the phenomenal growth of the nation’s pharmaceutical and biological development.
