Contest launched to discover youth-friendly small businesses

Jeju National University’s Career Development Center is recruiting members of the 2021 Hidden Champion JNU Expedition, a small-scale business exploration team.

Any student who is enrolled at or graduated from Jeju National University is entitled to make applications for an individual or group entry. The application is accepted on the website of the Career Development Center (https://blog.naver.com/jnujob) by Dec 3.

The members of the ‘expedition’ teams are expected to discover small but promising businesses that are open to youth new employees.

Concluding the event, the students will visit the businesses and conduct interviews with officials before giving presentations containing the company introductions.

To encourage participation of students, the Career Development Center will offer courses on corporate analysis, while arranging student meetings with corporate officials and providing financial support. The center will also educate the students on business manners and presentation capacity.

After the contest, the winners will be awarded a scholarship worth four million won in total.
