조상미 석사과정생, KFN STAR 발표상 수상
Master student Cho Sang-mi awarded KFN STAR Presentation Prize

Cho, Sang-mi, a master student of JNU Graduate School of Food Science and Nutrition (academic advisor: Kang, In-hye) was awarded with KFN STAR Presentation Prize at ‘2021 Korean Society of Food Science and Nutrition International Symposium’ held in BEXCO, Busan.

Cho’s presentation was titled, ‘The potential protective effects of peanut sprout extract and its main component p-coumaric acid on dexamethasone-induced skeletal muscle atrophy.’

Cho analyzed that peanuts from Udo, specialty of Jeju, is capable of protecting skeletal muscle from atrophy, contributing to added value of biological resource derived from Jeju.
