Jeju National University’s Glocal Trade Expert Incubating Program (JNU-GTEP) provided support for the Suwon Mega Food Show, a food fair held from Dec. 9 through 13 at the Suwon Convention Center.

The food fair was organized as a part of the Mega Show, one of the nation’s largest convention specializing in consumer goods, which runs 400 booths of more than 250 companies.

During the event, producers and consumers were invited from different parts of Korea to participate in business consultative meetings, live commerce shows, and more.

JNU-GTEP worked with the Jeju Regional Headquarters of the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation to provide support on the offline sales and business consultative meetings of four Jeju-based businesses.

Kim Seok-hoon, a student in the Department of International Trade, referred to the program as a good opportunity for GTEP members to practice what they have learned during the GTEP course.

JNU-GTEP promotes the products of its partner businesses and educate its promising young trade experts, funded by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. JNU-GTEP members engage in the entire event process on the site, helping with the business consultation meetings and the operation of promotional booths.
