Student-led project to discover youth-friendly companies launched 

Jeju National University’s Career Development Center launched the 2021 Hidden Champion JNU Expedition, the center announced on Friday (Dec. 10).

The 2021 Hidden Champion JNU Expedition is a project where students discover youth-friendly companies. The center selected a total of 30 expedition members, who will be divided into five teams to engage in corporate analysis, capacity building, educational tours, and contests until late February. Those who complete the project with excellent performance outcomes will receive scholarships, totaling 4 million won.

The launching ceremony featured the briefing on the expedition’s activities, a speech by the director of the university’s Career Development Center, the introduction of the expedition members, and the orientation and capacity building event for the members.

On Dec. 9 and 10, the expedition members took a capacity building course, where they learned about strategies for analyzing promising small companies, practiced business etiquettes, and received team-based consulting services. The capacity building program is scheduled to be offered through three special lectures and 10 group consulting services.
