The JNU Regional Specialized Youth Trade Expert Training Project Group (Director: Prof. Hur Yun-seok, GTEP) participated in the KOREA EXPO OSAKA 2025, held at INTEX Osaka Hall 6 from March 27 to 29.

The event, co-hosted by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) and Exporum, featured over 80 leading Korean consumer goods companies. In addition to 1:1 business meetings, a variety of Korean cultural experience programs were also presented, creating a dynamic platform for trade and cultural exchange.

GTEP members—Park Ha-jun, Ki Hyun-jin, Yang Sung-soo, Kim Hyung-chul, Kim Soo-hyun (all from the JNU Department of International Trade and Department of Business Administration), and Jeong Chan-han (JNU College of Economics & Commerce)—provided on-site export marketing support to promising Jeju-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including:△ VS Shinbi Co., Ltd. △ JDG Co., Ltd. △ Fishery Association Corporation Ollebadang.

The students played a key role in operating exhibition booths, providing interpretation during B2B meetings, and attracting buyers to visit the booths.

Park Ha-jun, head of the 19th GTEP team, shared his thoughts on the experience, saying, "As it was our first time participating in an overseas exhibition, we worked hard to prepare in advance. At the venue, we were able to experience the real-world trade environment firsthand by supporting the export efforts of our partner companies. GTEP will continue to actively engage in overseas export activities in collaboration with Jeju's outstanding consumer goods companies.”
