JNU alum Lee Moo Kyo appointed as 4.3 Foundation Board chairman

JNU alum Lee Moo Kyo (74), formerly President of Jeju Development Institute, was appointed as the 4th Jeju 4.3 Peace Foundation last Monday (January 6, 2014).

Mr. Lee was unanimously selected for the 2-year term at the foundation board meeting held last month (December 27, 2013). His appointment was confirmed by Jeju Provincial Government.

The newly appointed chairman is native of Namwon township/Seogwipo; he graduated from the Department of Law and earned a Masters degree from the Graduate School of Public Administration.

He worked at Jeju MBC, Jaemin Daily Newspaper, Jeju 4.3 Research Institute, and most recently as President of Jeju Development Institute.
