JNU Horse Industry Training Center establishes collaboration in horse oil manufacturing and clinical testing

The Jeju National University Horse Industry Training Center (Kang Min Soo, Director) signed the joint working relationship with Jeju Horse Industry, Ltd, Hwasang Hospital and Bestian Hospital in manufacturing and clinically testing horse oils last Tuesday (January 14, 2014).

According to the agreement, the JNU Center and Jeju Horse Industry Co. are to carry out basic scientific research on  and manufacture of horse oils whereas the hospitals perform clinical testing of the manufactured products.

Horse oils are known for their efficacy in treating burns, atopi, psoriasis, and other skin diseases. However, so far not much research on clinical uses of horse oils have been carried out in Korea.
