JNU gets authorization to recruit and manage foreign students

Jeju National University gained authorization as a superior institution for recruiting and managing foreign students based on the 2013 academic year evaluations conducted by the Ministries of Education and Law.

The ministerial authorization system was established to promote the reliability and competitiveness of foreign student recruiting and management affairs in 2011.

49 universities including JNU earned the authorization, whereas 13 institutions failed in gaining authorization. Visa issuance by the latter will be restricted from Fall Semester-2014.
