Certificates of completion presented to athletically gifted youths

Jeju National University Athletically Gifted Youths Center (Yang Myung Hwan, Director) observed the completion of athletically gifted youths class of 2013 last week (January 25, 2014).

Chang Don Hwan of Dong Hwa Elementary School received a certificate of completion (in gymnastics) and 28 others earned their respective certificates.

Moon Sang Hyeok (track), Shin Keum Joo (gymnastics), Yang Hye Yeon (swimming), Park Jim Min (gymnastics), Kim Sung Hoo (swimming) won superior performance awards.

Everest mountaineer Chung Sang Soo and ultramarathoner An Byeong Shik presented invited talks to encourage the graduating youths. Some 80 officials and parents attended the completion ceremony.

The gifted athletic youths program at Jeju National University has been implemented with the support of Korea Foundation for the Next Generation Sports Talent (NEST) since four years ago.
