Cultural Heritage Administration offers two canine species for research

The JNU College of Veterinary Medicine (Lee Doo Shik, Dean) was offered the pair each of unique Korean canine breeds Jindo and Sapsal dogs from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Cultural Heritage Administration (National Cultural Heritage Institute) last week (January 24, 2014).

Accordingly, Jeju National University and Cultural Heritage Administration will embark on collaborative research on the dog species in terms of their cultural and biological values.

Veterinary Medicine Professor Yoon Young Min will lead the research program.
