큰 호응 얻은 '겨울방학 교육기부 프로그램'
"Winter Recess Free Education Program" hailed by everyone

Jeju National University successfully completed this winter's free education program.

The JNU Museum conducted the natural history program called "Fossil exploration into the prehistoric age" of Jeju region for the 3rd ~ 6th elementary school graders three times (January 7, 14 and 21) last month.

The JNU Teachers College led 50 elementary school 3rd ~ 5th  graders to the three classes learning about "Creative elementary computers", "Robot science audition" and "Educational robot applications," as the college's computer science education faculty guided the youngsters through problem solving experiences.

Some of the other educational programs included "Puppy stories as told by a veterinarian," "What does a veterinarian do?", etc., while the Humanity College Chinese Language and Literature Department professors taught the elementary school participants how to get to speak Chinese through singing of Chinese children's songs.

The winter program was hailed as great success by both participant youths and their parents.
