Professor Kang Kyung Hee to head 8th Jeju Women's Special Committee

Political Science and Diplomacy Professor Kang Kyung Hee of JNU College of Social Sciences was elected to serve as Chair for the 8th Jeju Women's Special Committee.

The committee is comprised of 6 members from academics, 3 from media and citizens groups, 1 each from tourism culture, women studies, and public health and welfare. It aims to establish a comprehensive policy on women's status in general and gender equity in Jeju.
