WISET제주사업단, 최우수 평가 쾌거
WISET Jeju Branch gets superior performance rating

Jeju National University's Women in Science, Engineering and Technology (WISET) Jeju Branch (Professor Doh Yang Hee, Director) earned the highest evaluative grade of S (superior) as the result of nationwide evaluations of the 2012-2013 projects. Sixteen WISET regional projects were entered in the evaluation process.

The WISET Jeju Branch received funding for its projects from the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, National Research Foundation of Korea, Korea Center for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology, Jeju National University and Jeju Autonomous Government.

WISET has been running its various program projects to encourage women, especially college coeds, to enter the fields of science, engineering and technology.

The WISET Jeju Branch was rated highly for its program to establish the network with diverse scientific educational organizations such as JNU Engineering Education Center, Jeju Youth Science Exploration Club, Wild Animal Rescue Center, Subtropical Horticulture Research Institute, Daum Corporation, etc.

Director Doh hopes to raise woman enrollment in science and engineering at Jeju National University.
