Kim Beom-seok, professor in the Faculty of Wind Energy Engineering at Jeju National University’s Graduate School, recently received the 2021 Korean Society for New and Renewable Energy (KSNRE) Academic Prize.
The prize is presented to those KSNRE members who achieved excellent academic performance outcomes and contributed greatly to the related industrial development.
Kim was selected as the winner for the society’s recognition on his outstanding research outcomes in the studies of new and renewable energy.
The academic group especially acknowledged his contribution to elevating its prestige through the successful organization of academic events.
After hearing the news, Kim said he is privileged to be announced as the winner of the honorable prize. He also expressed his determination to make continued efforts for the realization of the nation’s carbon neutrality and the advancement of the KSNRE.
