Women in Science, Engineering and Technology (WISET ) Scholarships presented to woman students

Five students led by Kim Soo Hyun (Mechanical Engineering major, senior) were presented with 2014-WISET scholarships by JNU WISET Jeju Branch (Doh Yang Hee, Director) last Wednesday (March 5, 2014). Each scholarship covers full tuition of the recipients.

The WISET scholarship program aims at promoting interest in science and engineering/technology for the coeds. The program is funded through the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, National Research Foundation of Korea, Korea Woman Scientists and Engineers Support Center, Jeju National University and Jeju Provincial Government.

WISET also offers a variety of program to facilitate for the woman students to advance to major areas of scientific and engineering disciplines for their career paths.
