Prof. Song Seok Joon picked to serve on judges panel at World Mathematicians Congress

Professor Song Seok Joon of JNU College of Natural Science Department of Mathematics will serve on the panel of judges at the World Mathematicians Congress to be held in COEX Center/Seoul next August.

The quadrennial congress is well known for its announcement of Fields Medal, equivalent to a Nobel Prize in mathematics.

The congress expects over 3,000 mathematicians participating. The panel of judges will screen the papers for presentation at the congress.
