University Hospital installs cutting-edge walk rehab training robot

Jeju National University Hospital installed a cutting edge training robot for walk rehabilitation of rheumatism, degenerative arthritis and other paralysis patients for the first time in Jeju Province.

The robot trainer will be extremely helpful for patients who temporarily lost their walking ability as a result of articular ligament damage, degenerative arthritis, and joint replacement surgery, cerebral apoplexy, spine injury, etc.

The new walk rehabilitation system is capable of stimulating the paralyzed muscles and joints to help restore the patient's muscular strength.

The robot trainer is equipped with a sensor and virtual program to help the patient to systematically train according to his/her will power.
