2014 Overseas Internship Program launched

Future global leaders for Jeju Province got together to launch their overseas internship program in a Jeju Development Corporation conference hall last week (April 4, 2014).

Sixteen Jeju college students participating in the 2014 overseas were screened from many applicants on the basis of English proficiency, GPA and other qualities.

They went through 6 hours of daily language training and orientation for three weeks starting from March 10 this year.

The group departed for Vancouver, Canada, where they will have 10 weeks of language training and industrial internship, respectively, followed by one week of cultural experiencing before returning to Jeju on August 30, 2014.

Implementation of the overseas internship program is organized and managed by Strategic Headquarter on Recruiting, with financial support provided by Jeju Development Corporation (Oh Jae Yoon, President).
