1000 surgery cases of synarthrophysis recorded in Prof. Choi Sung Wook's plastic surgical clinic

The JNU Department of Plastic Surgery Articular Clinic and its chief surgeon Choi Sung Wook set the regional record of conducting 1000 surgical cases of synarthrophysis since 2008.

Synarthrophysis is an age-related disease due to degeneration and rupture of the shoulder muscles of the articular joints. Repeated abuses of the muscles also lead to the disease of the joint.

When shoulder muscle strings become problematic, it causes extreme pains.

Now that 1000 cases of synarthrophysis surgery have been successfully conducted at JNU University Hospital Articular Clinic, patients in the region no longer need to travel to the mainland for their treatments, according to Professor Choi Sung Wook.
