지리올림피아드 제주대회, 17일 제주대서 열려
JNU to host 2014 Geography Olympiad

Jeju National University will host the 2014 15th Geography Olympiad in General Education Hall next week (May 17, 2014).

The Olympiad is jointly sponsored by the Korean Society for Geography, National Land Research Institute and Jeju National University. The JNU College of Education Geography Education Department is one of the co-organizers of the event.

The event aims to promote the understanding of geography among the high school students in Jeju Province and to establish an academic link between the high school students and the university geography program. Also, the Olympiad provides the opportunities to widen the geographic view of the world among the students.
