Professor Suh Joon Young wins Young Researcher Award at Spinal Surgery Society meeting

Professor Suh Joon Young of the JNU Hospital Department of Orthopedic Surgery came away with a Young Researcher Award from the 31st Korean Society for Spinal Surgery held in Incheon Sondo Convention Center.

Professor Suh won the honor based on his research accomplishments and earned another prize (Hyangsan Scholarly Prize) based on his presentation of the paper entitled "Apoptosis and autophagy in therapeutic hypothermia after spinal cord injury in rat."

He published 11 SCI level publications on spinal surgery during the last three years.
