Hyosung donates core equipment to Jeju National University

Jeju National University received a 1MVA STATCOM, new core electric power equipment system from Hyosung Corporation.

Through the donation of the core facility, Jeju National University and Hyosung are expected to establish a close working relationship in technical development and personnel training based on the future electric power technology.

The STATCOM system is a new technological innovation for future electric power generation. The system is particularly essential in addressing the sudden changes inherent in new sustainable renewal electric power generated through wind power and solar energy.
