'한센병' 소록도병원서 봉사활동
JNU providing volunteer service for Hansen's Disease patients at Sorockdo Island Hospital

JNU volunteers will be on hand at National Sorokdo Island Hospital located in Koheung, Chonnam Province, providing voluntary services to the patients during July 18-21, 2014.

Professor Ko Yoon Hee, Dean of Student Affairs and 4 of her staff and 15 students will make up the volunteer team.

The National Sorokdo Island Hospital was established in 1916, to care of the patients with Hansen’s disease, and to conduct research on the disease.

The JNU team will provide assistance to the patients with daily living chores, food and environmental services, and other service activities.
