WISET제주센터, 여고생 공학캠프 개최
WISET Jeju Center ran engineering camp for girls high students

Under the sponsorship of JNU WISET Jeju Regional Center (Doh Yang Hee, Director and Professor of Electronic Engineering), Jeju Youth Science Study Club (Hyun Seok Woo, Director and Principal of Jeju Science High School) held an engineering camp ("2014 Creative Engineering Study Camp―Girls High Students Engineering Dream") in the JNU College of Engineering Hal during July 12~13, 2014.

The camp was organized with self-motivated innovation teams (3 members per team) working on the camp project to make electric automobiles; altogether 60 students participated in the engineering camp.

Some 20 electric laboratory cars were made by the participants with varying designs, energy efficiency and structural stability.

Winners of the camp projects include:

△Outstanding (JNU President's Prize) = Team SGE (Kim Do Hee and two other teammates from Jeju Samsung Girls High), Team 2048  (Yang Soo Bin and two other teammates from JNU Auxiliary High)

△Superior (JNU College of Engineering Dean’s Prize) = Team T.O.P (Huh Na Yeon and her teammates, Seogwipo Girls High), Team STEP  (Hong Yeon Soo and her team mates, Namnyeong High), Team Mist (Park Yeo Jung and her teammates), Team Chamah (Cho Mi Yeon and her teammates, JNU Aux. High).
