Performance sharing event held for JNU-HRC program

Jeju National University's Center for Teaching and Learning recently held a performance-sharing meeting for Jeju National University Honors Residential College (JNU-HRC) in the university’s Liberal Arts Lecture Hall.

JNU-HRC refers to a program to cultivate creative and enterprising human resources with an international sense by providing support for outstanding first-year students.

The selected students were provided with tuition and dormitory fees and costs for capacity building programs (language education, book reviewing discussions, information technology education, regional exploration, etc.).

The performance sharing meeting was operated focusing on reporting progress after the selection of participants in June 2021, checking performance outcomes, and listening to opinions of learners participating in HRC.

In the following discussions, feedback on the students’ performances was shared so that it can be reflected in the quality improvement of the program in the future.

Students who participated in the HRC program during the past semester expressed satisfaction with the process, saying, “Although it was burdensome at first, I was proud to be able to talk to foreign students through the JNU-HRC foreign friend matching program and feel that my English skills improved.”
