Jeon Seong-min, a freshman in Jeju National University’s Department of Physical Education, recently won third place in the men’s -80kg class competition for undergraduates at the 44th Korea University Taekwondo Foundation Presidential Cup Taekwondo Championship held in Gangwon Province.

Jeon Seong-min advanced to the semifinals with a 21-20 victory over Wooseok University's Seo Seung-gil in the quarterfinals, but lost to Yongin University's Lee Myeong-joon and remained in third place.

Earlier, Kim Ye-ryeong (fourth-year) ranked second in the women's college +73 class, Hwang Su-jeong (second-year) third in the women’s +73 class, and Kim Min-hyeok (first-year) third in the men’s – 58kg class for undergraduates at the 48th National Taekwondo Individual Championship.
