Latest Aritis blood dialysis system installed at JNU Hospital for first time in Jeju

Recently, the latest renal/blood dialysis machine, Artis TM system, was installed at Jeju National University Hospital (Kang Sung Ha, Hospital Director) for the first time in Jeju Province.

In addition, the number of dialysis beds was expanded from 25 to 40 at the hospital.

The new machine provides automatically safe dialysis for patients independent of their blood pressures. It also allows real time monitoring of the dialysis process at the nurses station.

Hospital Director Kang commented that the latest installation permits for the hospital to establish an artificial kidney center at Jeju National University Hospital.
