Cho Soo Yeon wins Baekrock Literary Prize in poetry division

Korean Language Education sophomore Cho Soo Yeon got the honor as the winner of the 34th Baekrok Literary Prize in poetry division, it was announced by the university Thursday (July 25, 2014). Her poem was entitled "Heavy Snowfall."

There was no winner in novel division; Kim Ji Sook and Kim Dae Hyun were cited for their commendable efforts.

Entered in the prize contest were 35 poems by 6 contestants and 38 novels by 38 entrants.

President Huh Hyang Jin presented prizes and certificates to the winners.

The annual Baekrock Literary Prize was established by Jeju National University Newspaper in 1981.
