반디봉사단, 전국 경진대회서 우수상
Bandi Volunteers Team awarded at nationwide contest

Jeju National University’s Lovehouse Bandi Volunteers Team (Kim Keum Tak, President) came away with a superior service prize from the 21st National Volunteers Festival Voluntary Service Program Contest held in Baekbum Memorial Hall in Seoul last Wednesday (July 23, 2014).

Lovehouse Bandi Volunteers Team is comprised of 45 volunteers including 33 JNU members, providing voluntary services (improving living conditions and environment) for elderly persons living alone and parentless families on a monthly basis.

The team focuses on repairing and improving household items, electric appliances and supplies, and other home machines. The festival and contest were sponsored by Korean Association of Volunteers Service Centers and Joongang Daily Newspaper/Citizens Social Environment Institute.
