Traditional culture experienced by Out-of-Province Jeju native collegians



Fifty five out-of-province Jeju native collegians participating in the '2014 Summer Homeland School' visited the JNU campus' last Monday (August 4, 2014) and viewed a film publicizing the university. They also heard a talk about Jeju culture by Kang Moon Kyu, Director, Halla Ecological Institute.

They also visited the JNU Center for Jeju Natives in Japan and Museum.

Following their activities in the morning, the team experienced in preparing native local foods such as 'bing ddeok' (buckwheat flour radish pancake), oil-dipped rice cake and other jeju local foods.

The students will be visiting and experiencing other Jeju folk culture and natural scenic sites.
