이시향 명예박사, 장학금 3천만원 지원
Scholarship fund of 30 million won provided by Dr. Lee Shi Hyang

Hon. Doctor Lee Shi Hyang, Jeju native businessman residing in Tokyo, Japan, presented 15 scholarships to Jwa Min Soo and 14 other students, totaling 30 million won. Each recipient got 2 million stipend. Previously, Dr. Lee has donated a sum of 1.6 billion won toward the development fund for Jeju National University.

This year’s recipients include three students from Dr. Lee’s hometown of Hankyung Township and two from his alma mater (Joongang High School). Each scholarship awardee was provided with the stipend at a presentation ceremony held on the campus. President Huh Hyang Jin congratulated the recipients.
