Professor Kim Chi Wan appointed as Director of Institute for Basic Liberal Education

Professor Kim Chi Wan of the Department of Philosophy assumes directorship of the Institute for Basic Liberal Education for a two year term, it was announced last Monday (August 25, 2014).

Professor Kim graduated from Catholic University, and earned his doctorate in philosophy from Pusan National University. He joined the JNU faculty in 2009.

He has authored several books including "Logic and Essay" and "Understanding Oriental Thoughts."
