SSK 연구팀, 사업단 승격.. 3년간 7억 수혜
JNU's Social Science Korea grant gets renewed for 3 more years

Jeju National University Social Sciences Korea (SSK, Professor Choi Hyeon, Grant Director) was notified of a renewal of the grant for another three years funded by the Ministry of Education and National Research Foundation of Korea earlier this month (September 4, 2014).

Accordingly, the JNU project gets a sum of 700 million won for the period of September 2014 through August 2017.

The JNU SSK project was initiated with the research plan to study the risky society and its continuation prospect in 2011. Under the leadership of Professor Choi Hyeon, Professor Chung Chang Won of the Department of Sociology and Drs. Chung Young Shin and Kim Ja Kyung, along with two assistants, participated in the project.

The SSK project team plans to develop new policies for a sustainable Jeju society in collaboration with Jeju Provincial Government and Jeju Provincial Education Board.
