육상부, 전국 대학대항 13연패 '위업'
JNU team turned in top performance at National College Track and Field Meet 13 years in a row

Jeju National University Women’s Track and Field team achieved overall national championship at the 68th National College Track and Field Meet held in Yecheon Stadium, Gyeongsang Bukdo Province, for 13 years in a row.

At the event sponsored by Korea Track and Field Union, Jeju National University team got away with 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals, defeating second and third place finishers Korea Sports University and Chungnam National University, respectively.

The most notable of the meet was the first place finish of the 1600 meter relay team who posted a record time of 4 minute 00.66 second.

Professor Lee Chang Joon was named the outstanding coach of the meet.
